Marek Brzozowski was born in Bydgoszcz, Poland in 1952. He studied in Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, Poland, graduating in 1976, with Bachelor and Master degrees in graphic design. From 1978 to 1989 he lectured graphic design and typography at the forementioned academy.

Simultaneously, he worked as a freelance designer, illustrator, painter and art director. He participated in many solo and group exhibitions and gained various awards in worldwide competitions in poster design, cartoon, illustration and corporate identity logo design.

Currently, Marek lives in Ankara, Turkey, where he lectures graphic design, illustration and typography at the Faculty of Art, Design and Architeture of Bilkent University. He also continues to paint and exhibit his works both locally and internationally.
